When I made my last blog post, I could say that it was a knee-jerk reaction to seeing YET ANOTHER person I know suddenly working for LabAnswer. Over the past year, I've been stunned how many people have gone in that direction. But I can't honestly call it "a knee-jerk reaction" considering the fact that I wrote it the day before I posted it, talked to quite a few people, some at LabAnswer, and had plenty of time to think about the post before I hit the Publish button.
I hesitated sending it, because I normally don't just gripe in this blog. However, this blog IS meant to be something of a reflection of my experiences in the industry and I felt my reaction might be one shared by others. Hence, I still decided to post.
I had no particular expectations regarding the response I'd get. I made the post and just moved on to prepare other posts that I'm planning to publish.
Reponses
I've received a variety of responses about that post. Some of them consoling, some asking what my problem is, some telling me I'm not really alone. It's been interesting and I've actually enjoyed the responses I've received from people. Unexpectedly, I got some new business leads our of that and it was also a post that drew a large number of readers.
Should I now claim that "good things come to those who gripe"? Well, I don't think I should go that far, but here's what I want to say to everyone who responded either with some opinion, to give me business, or just to say "hello": Thank you. I'm glad to hear from you. I value your contact and appreciate that you took the time to make a contact with me.
