The Best Project Manager in the World!

To end a week dedicated to my last project, I had mentioned a bizarre schedule detail. That project had its go-live date coming up. Starting a month after that, four team members were scheduled to have babies within a month’s timeframe and, currently, no other project member babies were on the way that we knew of. Although this was a large project, the team is small-enough that that’s quite an amazing coincidence: http://outonalims.com/2010/08/27/the-best-project-manager-in-the-world/
As it turns out, the babies seemed to come within 5-6 weeks of each other, if I got all the details, correct, so that is really pretty close and it was still within the general planned timeframe. As such, I declare the project manager on my last project “The Best Project Manager in the World” because I don’t know how she managed that. Other project managers should learn from this -- that “real” project managers don’t let ANYTHING stand in the way of their schedule. ;-)
